On Thanksgiving morning my buddy Jay and I woke up in his van next to a hot spring. After a quick soak and stop off at Schat's Bakery, we went for a hike in the freshest of powder up the Crystal Lake trail. For most of the hike we were blazing our own trail through 1-2' of snow while using the AllTrails iOS app to make sure we were staying on course.
