After picking up our tour operater Pasian, we arrived to Moshi around 5pm. Justin and Pasian dropped us off at The Leopard Hotel and We said our goodbyes to Justin and Pasian told us he’d see us tomorrow morning at 8am.

Once we got to our room, we found that we had two double beds pushed together, the light in the bathroom didnt work and that the air conditioner remote was missing. To top it off, the picture of the hippos from Serengeti over our bed wasn’t even straight. Ughh. We ended up luckily switching to the room next door which had everything fixed and a full size bed. I packed everything for Kili and realized somehow I had forgotten to pack my gloves. Looks like I’ll be renting those tomorrow on top of the climbing poles and gaiters.

Nothing else to note really other than the fact that we shared a nice dinner at the Restaurant Italian Passion downstairs. I had a Hawaiin pizza and she had an Ortanala – a veggie pizza with green bell peps, mushrooms and zooks.

We also bought some sweet Kilimanjaro lager t shirts from a peddler.
